Decorate Lane enter a legally binding contract with a Buyer, when we receive payment of the complete sale price for the goods that a Buyer orders and the transaction sale is completed once we dispatch the goods.
2. Email address
We need to have your e-mail address so that we can send confirmation of receipt to the order. Please provide the email address that you utilise on a daily basis , one that you check daily as our notifications will go to that email address.
All rights in this website are owned by or licensed to Decorate Lane. Utilising the content of this website, such as copying it is prohibited without our permission. You cannot repost any of our content from our website or from our social channels , the likes of Facebook and Instagram.
4. Accuracy in the details of our Products sold
We try our best to ensure that prices quoted are correct at the time of publishing and that all goods have been described to a t. Any weights or measurements given about the goods are on an estimated basis. The colours you view on your screen pertaining to our Products, may differ from actual colour of the Product in light of viewing it with your own eyes physically, as colours can be made out to be different from one's desktop/tablet//mobile screens. Hence we will not take responsibility if you deem that the actual colour of the goods you purchased from us differs from what you see/saw on your Desktop / Tablet / Mobile screen upon purchase or after purchase.
5. Virus attacks to your computer
We cannot guarantee that your use of this website will not cause damage to your computer. It is your responsibility to ensure that the right anti virus software is built into your computer. We will not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise to your computer, mobile, as a result of using this website.
6. Goods Availability
All orders are subject to availability from the time before you place an order. If by our negligence, we allow for the goods you have ordered to go through as a transaction but they are in fact Sold Out and are not available from current stock, we will contact you by e-mail or phone (if you have given us details) and you will be given the option either to wait until the item is available or to cancel your order.
The prices payable for goods that you order are as set out on our website. All prices are correct at the time of entering information. If an incorrect pricing was entered by us, and you have already made payment for it, we will refund you the order, and email you to inform you of the situation at hand.
8. Payment terms
We will take payment upon receipt of your order from your credit or debit card or PayPal. We accept no liability if a delivery is delayed because you did not give us the correct payment details.
9. Delivery charges
Delivery charges vary according to the weight of goods ordered.
We offer worldwide shipping with DHL Express but it might not be possible for us to deliver to some other locations. Please key in your country in the drop down "Country" form field in "Checkout" to check if your country is applicable.
We will deliver your Order to the address you indicate for delivery in your order receipt that we receive from your Order Confirmation. Do ensure the address is correct before you submit your order in "Checkout" as we cannot accept any liability if an incorrect address was given and our goods get shipped to that wrongly input address.
We will also not be liable for any loss or damage to the goods once they have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions (unless this is caused by our negligence).
We will aim to deliver the goods by the date we quote for delivery which is within 3 days time upon order for local shipping out to Singapore. However keep in mind that delivery times are not guaranteed and we could take more than 3 days to deliver due to an unforseen circumstance such as we are waiting for the stock to arrive to dispatch out your item. In this event, we will email you to give you the new expected date of delivery , if you cant wait till that date, we will not refund but will give you an one on one exchange to buy something else from our online store.
You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered once they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.
Unless agreed otherwise, if you do not receive goods ordered by you within 30 days of the date on which you ordered them and decide to cancel the order rather than re-arrange delivery we will provide you with a full refund.
10. No Refunds or exchanges unless they are defective
You have 7 working days after the day on which you receive your goods to return them only if they are defective upon receiving them. Otherwise, we do not do refunds or exchanges.
We may make a deduction from your refund for any loss in the value of the goods supplied if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you (for example damage or stains that were not documented to us by a photograph when you informed us that good/s were defective).
11. Cancellation of Order by Decorate Lane
We reserve the right not to process your order if:
a.) We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;
b.) One or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error on our part.
If we do not process your order for the above reasons, we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit/debit card as soon as possible, or latest within 14 days.
12. Queries on the goods you purchased
If you have any questions about the goods. You can do so at email@example.com.
If you wish to reject goods because they are defective, please send us a picture of the defect to firstname.lastname@example.org. You must post them back to us via registered post. You will bear the cost of postage.
All queries from you to us must be in writing and sent to our contact address at email@example.com.
14. Changes to T&C's
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time.
15. Singapore Law
This website an its content and any contract brought into being as a result of usage of this website are governed by and construed in accordance with Singapore law. Parties to any such contract agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
